Buffalo Chicken Dip

We mentioned in an earlier post that it isn’t game day in the Bell house without the three ingredient dip.  Well, Buffalo Chicken dip is a much newer dip in our game day line up, but it is already our other staple dip.  In fact, this one might just be my favorite.  Several of you asked if we were going to do a buffalo chicken dip.  It seems like everyone has their own version of this dip.  Well, today we give you our version (and we have tried several different ones)! We know you will love this one!

1 Rotisserie Chicken (you can use regular chicken or canned chicken as well, but we think the rotisserie chicken is easy and gives it the most flavor)

2 (8 oz.) Blocks of Cream Cheese (softened)

1/2 cup of Ranch Dressing

1/4 to 1/2 cup of Texas Pete hot sauce (depending on your preferred level of hotness)

2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

Chop your chicken into small cubes or shred it.  I typically do not use a whole rotisserie chicken for the dip.

Mix together the cream cheese, hot sauce, ranch and 1 cup of cheese.  Once it is well blended, incorporate the chicken.

Spread the dip into your pan and top with the remaining 1 cup of cheese.  Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until cheese bubbles.

Now, try to stop eating it.  Just try.
