Swiss Bacon Dip

A few years ago I was looking for a great dip recipe to take to a shower. I wanted something that would look a little more refined then my usual messy dips but also taste really good.  As I went through my recipe box, I found this recipe given to me by a family friend. This dip is easy, always a crowd pleaser, and super tasty! I like to add scallions for color and taste. The Dijon Mustard perfectly compliments the swiss cheese and adds a depth of flavor. Give the dip a try and you will not regret it!


6 oz Finely Shredded Swiss Cheese

8 oz Cream Cheese

1/4 cup Mayonnaise

Scallions chopped

2 T Dijon Mustard

8 Slices of Bacon cooked and chopped

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.

Step 1: Combine the cream cheese (softened), swiss cheese, and mayonnaise.

Step 2: Add in the dijon mustard and mix until it is evenly incorporated.

Step 3: Mix in scallions and bacon.

Step 4: Pour into greased baking dish.

Bake for 15-20 mins in a 375 degree oven.

Some people serve this with Fritos. I personally prefer Ritz Crackers.
